Being "the best kept secret" sounds impressive. Except it's not. It's killing your business. You can be good. You can be talented. But none of it matters if no one knows about you. What people can't see, they can't buy. People think posting online is just about getting followers so you can brag about it to your friends and how "famous" you are. But posting online isn't just about getting followers. It's about getting:
It's about taking your efforts and getting 10x the output from it. That's the power of having a strong personal brand. Let's take two coaches with identical skills. One posts consistently, shares their knowledge, and builds an audience. The other hides behind "my work speaks for itself" Which one scales beyond referrals? Which one raises their rates without pushback? Which one builds actual leverage in their business? The one who no one knows about, obviously. Kidding… It's the one who posts everywhere and positions themselves as an authority. Most people can't fathom just how powerful a personal brand is. Opportunities just land on your lap without you asking for them. They appear out of thin air. Let me put it this way… Excellence without visibility is like having a superpower you can't use. Completely fucking useless. The market rewards seen expertise over unseen excellence every time. Just like at celebrities. They can talk about literally anything they have no expertise in. Look at Lady Gaga. She became creative director for Polaroid but knows nothing about cameras. Or as Kanye said… "I like some of the Gaga songs. What the fuck does she know about cameras?" When she became creative director, their sales exploded. All because it was Gaga and her giant personal brand. So stop being the world's best kept secret. Become known. – Kyle I'll be talking more about this in future emails and how to position yourself as the go-to authority so stay tuned. P.S. - I'm finally back to writing these newsletters. Took a ton of time off them (wasn't sure why I was writing them in the first place), but now I actually have a reason to write them. I'm not sure how often I'll be posting. Could be once a week. Could be twice a week. Could be every day. Who knows. But just know I won't ever send a newsletter unless I think you'll absolutely benefit from it. |

Yoo Reader, We have an important topic today – DMs. More specifically, how to DM in a way where you don't blend in with all the other boring, lifeless, and easily resistible bots (so that you can actually land clients through DMs). And for the purpose of this newsletter, we'll be talking about Twitter DMs (though this applies to just about every other form of outreach – cold email, Instagram DMs, etc) But before I show you how to write irresistible DMs, I want to show you what you're up...
Yooo Reader, Today I need to address something very important for your personal brand and for my own sanity. Leaving comments on Twitter. I'm sure you know by now that comments are a game-changer for growth on Twitter (and any other social media platform). They get you in front of other creators' audiences They can build a connection with the creator They overall grow your account So it's important that you know how to comment effectively. But the problem is, 99% of comments are either: Some...
Yo yo Reader, Wanna know the top-secret way to make money? This is the same method the illumanti uses to sell their ideas to Hollywood… Okay, maybe not. Or maybe it is…? Okay enough waffle. If you've been learning about copywriting for at least 10 minutes, you've probably heard "Sell the benefits, not the features!" And if you haven't heard of it before, well now you have. It's a good thing to do when you write copy. But even when you do that, your copy might not convert readers into buyers....
